Muree:The Punjab government declared in emergency in Murree after heavy snowfall and call help from the Pakistan Army,rangers and Fc after at least 21 people died in their vehicles.
After a thousand vehicles entered in the muree Roads were completely closed due to which people did not get a chance to go out and many people lost their lives in a terrible accident.
As a result of last night's heavy snowfall in Murree, more than a thousand vehicles got stuck on the road and people were also trapped inside. Locals provided food and blankets in large numbers for those trapped in the snow strome.
According to the local administration, heavy rains and snowfall were forecast in Murree last night.In view of the severe weather conditions, the administration strictly forbade the citizens to turn towards me as there was a high probability of heavy rains and snowfall last night.
Sheikh Rasheed Saturday said in viedo message Murree had "seen a huge number of tourists after 20 years", and due to that, a crisis took place and local administration could not prepare for such a big incident. He also said that government was forced to close the road from Islamabad to Murree. "Islamabad and Rawalpindi's commissioners, deputy commissioners, police, are carrying out rescue works."
Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed said five platoons of the Pakistan Army have been called for rescue efforts with local administration, while Rangers and Frontier Corps will be deployed on an emergency basis.

Imran Khan , responding to the incident, said: "Shocked and upset at tragic deaths of peoples on road to Murree and ordered an inquiry into the matter and was putting in place a "strong regulation" to ensure the prevention of such tragedies in the future.
