According to the International News Agency, General Staff Intelligence of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has claimed that top Russian officials have given their troops a deadline of May 9 to end the war.
Russia, on the other hand, has not yet fully occupied any major Ukrainian city. Ukrainian forces have recaptured the two cities they claimed to have captured.
Prior to the war, pro-Russian rebels in Luhansk and Donetsk had announced their intention to form a government, but they have not been able to influence any other part of the country.
In such a situation, the Ukrainian army, on the strength of its resistance, claimed that the war would continue till April, however, the Ukrainian army has not yet received any help from NATO.
Russian troops have been instructed to suspend the war until May 9 because Russia celebrates the end of the war on May 9 each year, which lasted from 1941 to 1945.
Russia remembers May 9 as the day of the great patriotism because the German forces surrendered unconditionally on that day.
It should be noted that Russia had attacked Ukraine in the last days of February in which hundreds of soldiers on both sides have been killed so far and more than 2,000 civilians are expected to be killed while 4 international journalists have also been killed.
