At least 26 people have been killed after a high-voltage power line in Congo fell on markets and homes
A high-tension power line has collapsed in Kinshasa, the capital of the African country Congo.
According to a foreign news agency, high-tension power lines in Kansasha fell on houses and markets, killing 26 people.
A Congolese government spokesman said the dead included 24 women and two men, while two others were seriously injured.
The spokesman said most of the dead were traders and people waiting for the bus.
